The Happy Ever After Playlist by Abby Jimenez was released on 4/14/20; it is the second book from The Friend Zone.  This story takes place two years later, and the main character is Sloan who lost her fiance Brandon in a tragic accident.  The reader meets her as she is stuck in an in-between, with being stuck with the life she had planned with Brandon, and trying to move on in a life without him.  On the day she is going to visit his grave she has a close encounter with a dog name Tucker; the dog literally falls into her lap.  She goes about trying to find the dogs' owner and as weeks go by she decides she is going to keep Tucker if she does not hear back from his owner after one more phone call. Jason is an up and coming musician, and as he is getting off the plane to open for a gig in Australia, he receives a message about his dog Tucker getting lost.  When he calls the mysterious woman who has his dog, she is feisty at first, but then she gives him a chan...

So it's been about a minute since I last posted something.  I could blame it on events that happen in my life, but lets be real I've been lazy with a capital L.  My hope for this year is to remember why I wanted to start a blog in the first place.  I didn't have a lot of postings to begin with, so I'm not even sure if anyone has read them, but I'm doing this for me and I would like to finish something that I start.  I have books, A LOT OF BOOKS in fact that I want to read through this year and write reviews about them.  I know you can pretty much write a review anywhere, so really why start a blog. Again, it's for me and if someone would like to read what I have to say, and agree with my thoughts then I've accomplished something.
